Stuffy nose

Sinusitis that will not go away or is recurring

Pressure or pain in the face

Discharge

Headache

Congestion in sinuses or facial area

Blurred or fuzzy vision

What Does Sinus Surgery Involve?

Sinus surgery can usually be performed through minimally invasive techniques, requiring no incisions. Your doctor will decide which procedure is best for you after a thorough evaluation of your individual condition.

Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

Endoscopic sinus surgery is a nasal surgery performed by inserting a telescope with an attached camera into the nose so that your doctor can visually look at the area. Then, a small surgical instrument is inserted to remove the tissues that are obstructing the area. Endoscopic sinus surgery is minimally invasive, as the whole procedure is performed through a patient’s nostrils.

Videolaryngo-Stroboscopy

Video laryngoscopy is a form of indirect laryngoscopy in which your ENT does not directly view the larynx. Instead, visualization of the larynx is performed with a fibreoptic or digital laryngoscope inserted through the nose or mouth.

Microlaryngoscopy

Microlaryngoscopy is a surgical procedure performed through a surgical instrument called a laryngoscope that is placed through the mouth to expose the vocal folds. A microscope is used to examine the vocal folds in detail. Using this technique, vocal fold lesions (such as cysts, polyps, papilloma, nodules or cancer) are removed without making any external incisions.
